This year, the Johnston County Association of REALTORS® (JCAR) really took to heart the Gives Back Day ethos and started early. Angelina Corroo and Bernice Lopes gathered over $2,000 for local individuals who were furloughed or laid off as COVID-19 lockdowns began to take effect.

Foundation Supports Housing During COVID-19
NC REALTORS® and the NC REALTORS® Housing Foundation announced a contribution of $200,000 to the North Carolina Housing Coalition in support of their work to assist those in need of mortgage and rental relief assistance as a result of COVID-19.

Housing Foundation completes grant program; aids 828 families with $800,000
The NC REALTORS® Housing Foundation is pleased to announce the completion of our grant application program for those impacted by the Hurricane Florence storm system in Eastern North Carolina. Eligible applicants could qualify for a grant covering one month’s rent or mortgage payment. Grants were available for up to $1,500 and did not need to be repaid.

Homes4NC is now NC REALTORS® Housing Foundation
In 2018, Homes4NC became the NC REALTORS® Housing Foundation, and a new brand identity was born. Both more clearly reinforce the organization’s mission and core values, while adopting a more modern and appealing aesthetic with drastically improved utility applications.
